So, we have tried about 10 things to get her stomach functioning right, from prunes ( as seen above) to multiple reflux medicines, to other stomach cramping medicine and antacids to formula... and we are still back where we started. Pray for us tomorrow ( Thursday) as I journey back to the GI specialist. Pray I will be bold and he will listen closely to her symptoms. I have a tendency to be too optimistic and not as realistic as I should be. After all.. she is 6 mos. old and is still not sleeping more than an average of 3 hrs. a night without crying out in pain! I just want her to not hurt in the day and the night.
We got to go visit my dear friend Buffy in Birmingham last week. This was our first visit with her 8 wk. old John David. The visit was fun... but the car ride not so much!
Naomi has started holding her head up more and sitting for just a few moments as a time. She has rolled over both ways and loves testing her legs out in the exersaucer (compliments of my dear friend Susan Maynor from Stl.)
So, she is huge. I always laugh when a short person holds her b/c she takes up half of their body. B/c of her length she can wear 9 mos. clothes and even dresses in that size are too short. I am afraid she is gonna have her mom's clothes problems. Lookout WNBA!
